    Default I need a dinner

You guys have helped me once before, so I'm hoping you can help again. I've got a few leftover items I'd like to make for dinner. There is about:

    1 cup peas
    1 cup brocolli
    1/3 lb turkey
    1/2 cup spagetti sauce

I'm racking my brain here on what to do.

What about a casserole or a stew?

Maybe make up some rice, mix all together maybe top with some cheese

stew - put all in crock pot - all ingredients listed, cup or so of water, add some noodles or rice maybe some boullion cubes or seasonings to taste.

just what I would do.....I kind of throw things together.....

Make small turkey meatballs and serve over pasta with the vegs, maybe in a light cream sauce or herbs and oil, sort of like a pasta primavera.

Cook the turkey, crumble it and mix with sauce and chopped vegs to make a filling for calzones. Add cheese if you have it.

    Turkey and veg fried rice?

I'd make a turkey meat sauce and serve with pasta with a side of veggies or add them into the sauce.

Do you have any cheese? I'd make a stuffed turkey florentine and top it wiht the sauce.

Combine the cheese and veggies and stuff it into the center of the turkey. Bake and then top with the sauce.
    It is what it is.

I would cook it up and add a can of chicken broth for a soup. Would go nicely with some grilled cheese sandwiches.

shoiji - you hit it on the head. I liked everyone else's ideas, but nothing seemed like what I wanted to tackle tonight.

Your post reminded me that I have some homemade turkey broth in the freezer that I want to defrost this summer. It'll be perfect. I even have some bisquick I want to use up that I can make dumplings/rolls.

Thanks everyone for such wonderful ideas!!!

Just to clarify it's the freezer I want to defrost this summer. Need to use up some freezer stuff, so I can defrost it.

i would make a broccoli cheese rice casserole with the turkey and peas in it.

    no tomato sauce.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

It was really good. I especially enjoyed what the little bit of spagetti sauce did to the flavor or the broth. Yum.
