I got 10 of the 13. I missed the ones on vitamins, aspirin and pregnancy tests. I know I read somewhere that the Dollar Store pregnancy tests were no good.

I didn't do well but in all fairness I think couponing and my pricebook(still working that thing..it is a BOOK lol) have ruined it for me because I get so much stuff for next to nothing. For example, Why not get Lysol toilet bowl cleaner for .89 cents instead of the dollar store brand for a dollar etc?? The same can be said for food. Sure I can get a can of name brand chili a little cheaper at the dollar store and add a coupon BUT that same can, coupon can be doubled or even tripled at my grocery and will probably be on sale if I watch my ads.
So just straight out buying yes but shopping sales coupons and bygo...not so much. The math never lies, budget in INK!

I got 10 out of 12, but disagree with the batteries one. I've been buying the panasonic ones there for years and have had no issues. And considering how many batteries we go through, they are alot easier on the pocketbook than the more expensive ones and they tend to last just as long if not longer!

I got them all right, which I think is funny since I do not shop at dollar stores for anything other than my ziplock baggies and birthday cards.
I bought batteries there once and they were terrible. My insulin pump takes a single AA battery. A Duracell or even a cheap old Rayovac battery will last 4 weeks in my pump. The ones from the dollar store only lasted a week. Not a bargain at all when my life depends on it.DD (19)

I've never bought batteries at the dollar store, but MIL bought me 2 twenty packs of EverReady AA batteries from there. I put 2 in our remote and it worked 2 days...not worth it to me. I guess it depends on what brand your dollar store sells.
