    Default Happiness is...

When I was a child, I had this sheet set:

On the way home from work last night, something came to mind:

New windshield wipers. I always put this off when needed, but can't understand why once I finally do get the new set.

Which got me thinking, what are some of the simple things, things that pop up in the moment but you may not think of later, that make you happy?

The first knife swipe into a brand new jar of peanut butter. It always, always makes me happy. (:
    It is what it is.

-A cool evening, sitting on the back porch, throwing the ball for my dogs, listening to wind chimes.
-My family, all checked in by phone or under my roof, going to sleep knowing everyone is safe and sound for the night.
-A clean-smelling, fluffy towel to wrap up in after a bubble bath.
-The first night crawling into fresh, crisp, clean sheets.
-The smell of rain, and having it come early on a weekend morning so I can sleep in and not have to get up and go to work.
    -Gazing at a full moon.
Totally debt free since January 2011.

It passes happiness and moves closer to perfection when it's been a REALLY long day and includes hubby curled around my back and my furbaby curled at my belly.
