They used to carry these, not sure if they still do. THey're as good as any fancy chocolate i've had.

We love almost everything from there. We are not fans of their eggs, though. My dh doesn't care for their ranch, mayo or cream of mushroom soup. He's kind of a label snob with those things.

Their chocolate is really good. They have a fancy crunchy candy bar that is sorta like Kit Kat, and it is sooooo good.
The produce in my Aldi's is always nice looking.
I tried some of their wine....blech....don't buy it.
ALL of the paper goods are a real savings. I have bought their fresh chicken, and some pork chops there---good.
The ice cream is good. The shredded cheeses are good. I get cream cheese and sour cream there. Eggs also.
I get some of my spices there and splenda. They have real vanilla extract for a fraction of the price of any other stores around here.
I'm kinda snooty about canned goods, and soda pop. Haven't tried theirs.______

I would give everything a try at least once to see for yourself how you like certain things.
I buy their chips, all kinds. Their oreo cookies and have made oreo bons bons which are out of this world good!
I buy sour cream, cream cheese all of the block cheese and shredded ones. Some lunch meats, just bought for the first time some meat like ground turkey and some kind of roast.
Veggies all the time and fruits. Frozen fish and shrimp, pizza's, ice cream. And the canned foods.
Most everything is worth it to try at least once. These are the things that I have tried and buy over and over again.
Don't get spooked that it is not as fancy as most regular grocery stores, the price difference is worth it for sure. Everyone I have been in has been very clean unlike most of the Save-a-Lots near me.Married 22 years to Mark

I haven't been to Aldi's in a long time. Years ago I bought cat food there. It was some brand I never heard of. DON'T DO IT. My poor cat was yelling in pain and finally threw up after eating it.
I didn't care for one of the soups. Other than that I always enjoyed shopping there. Just use common sense about shopping. Sometimes the prices are lower but the packages are smaller. An item may be cheaper but the same item may be even cheaper when it goes on sale and with a coupon.
Years ago I could walk out of the store with two bags of groceries for about $10.

I was concerned about Aldi in the beginning. Slowly, I've been trying things. Their bread is excellent and I've tried almost all kinds now. I have a SERIOUS MSG allergy so can't use any of the process foods, so I haven't tried them, but I have used the paper towels and some fresh produce and been impressed. Sometimes the price difference between what's on sale at my local store and Aldi don't make it worth the extra trip, but, sometimes, I do hit Aldi. Eggs are .89 a dozen now and gal of milk is $1.89. Hard to beat that. Glazed almonds I got would break a tooth, though. VERY stale and hard. I could of taken them back; however, I have parrots, and they did not complain. Cheap parrot snacks.
Totally debt free since January 2011.

~I don't buy meat at Aldi. The hamburger is always full of bone bits and the chicken is salty and rubbery.
I also don't like their ranch dressing. It's very bland. The lite ranch is good though!
Their refrigerated biscuits and sweet rolls are great and a great price!
I love all their snack products except the tortilla chip rounds. All of them could pass for brand name except those. The rounds are too salty. Blech.
Our Aldi staples are milk, eggs, wheat bread, bananas, apples, frozen juice, coffee, pepperoni, bacon bits, potatoes, crackers, baking supplies, celery, carrots, salad and onions. We occasionally get cereal for the kids and they have all been excellent. In fact we're disappointed that they seem to have discontinued their version of peanut butter Capt'n Crunch. It was so much better than any store brand we've tried and almost better than the real thing. It was my kids' favorite.

Our Aldi's has been opened about 3 months. I've been there 3 times.
The only things I've gotten that I wouldn't recommend are the generic Cheetos, the generic SunChips, and the generic raisin bran (not enough raisins and the bran just wasn't that good).
Other than those items I've been very pleased.

We love almost everything from there. Especially the pasta sauce, mac n cheese and soups. They also have these cinnamon rolls there that are supurb. They sell them in the bread section and you put them in the oven for a short amount of time and YUM! The bread is great and so is the orange juice and milk. I dont know if I have bought their eggs or not so I cannot speak to that. The only thing we really did not care for was their frozen pizza. Oh and their ice cream and ice cream bars are great. I love their pancake mix and syrup to !

I like most everything at Aldis. I would suggest that you buy just one of each item and try it before stocking up. Aldis prices have gone up lately but so has everywhere else. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the quality and the prices. Don't forget to take shopping bags with you. I store my bags in my car so I always have them with me.
