A great site to check for free books eReaderIQ.com | The Easier, Faster, Smarter Way to Kindle! You can also list books you would like but are waiting for the price to drop - as they may do erratically. It emails you when there is a price drop. They also have a pretty good search function where you can set a price range for books you are looking and and include or exclude public domain titles.
One thing with Kindle books - if you see a free title and think you might like it, get it then. Prices are erratic at best - it may be free for 6 months, or six days, or six hours.Donna
