Default Won Second Place - Article & Pix

Thanks to everyone that voted for me! I won second place. Hubby and I drove from Houston TX to Carlisle PA and back to claim my prizes. Here is a link with photos and an article. Just scroll down a little.

Geico threw in a $200 gas gift card when they found out how far we were driving! We made the drive on a shoestring budget - borrowed a car (with better gas mileage than our trucks), packed a cooler with food and drinks, took snacks, slept several nights in the car at rest stops, etc.

The Body Garage Girls: Body and Machine

We live in Houston TX and have been having record heat and humidity for months as well as a major drought. It was hotter in Carlisle PA than in Houston TX. They were breaking records the two days we were there - 102/103 degrees and 111 degrees with the heat index!

I won 2nd place! Made it to the top 4 finalists for the ultimate biker makeover!

I rode my Harley yesterday for the first time in a week! I normally ride every day. Today I washed it, ate lunch, and getting ready to go out and wax and polish. Tomorrow we are riding to several events.

We had to put up the popup cover to wash the bike in the rain! Then we moved it into the garage to dry it. The things we do for our bikes.

Off to help hubby wash his and get waxing and polishing on mine. We are getting some rain bands from TS Don. We need the rain so I am NOT complaining.

If I had known I would have invited you to stay at my apt in Wheeling, Wv just off I70 ( I can see it from my apt). I am glad that at least you came in 2nd place.
