New here
Hi all! I am new here...
I am a mom of 3 (family of 5) living in WV. I am really interested in living more frugally. My husband and I are both state workers which equals state income. We would not trade our jobs ever...but would like to stretch the dollar. It seems like things are getting more expensive all the time!
We've couponed for quite sometime. That doesn't seem to be enough though. The electric is high, water is high, gas is high, etc...
I am anxious to be here and learn a lot!

Welcome! I have lived in New Haven, Elkins, Wheeling and Morgantown. Where in WV are you from?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Thanks
Thanks all for the big welcome! I have been reading the board for the last 2 hours.
Headed off soon though. DD #2 and I are cleaning her room. I refuse to buy her a whole new wardrobe for back to school. This will be the first year I am saying no to that. She doesn't change size often compared to most kids, so that kind of helps. I know she still has clothes that look new.
I told them one special outfit each and a new pair of shoes. That is it!
Greebo, I live in the Eastern Panhandle : )

Aloha and welcome from Hawaii!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
