Exclamation And the rich get richer

~You can beat the lottery if you have enough money for start-up. A game with a windfall for a knowing few - Boston.com
Hard to believe they haven't closed the loopholes that allow this. I certainly don't blame those with the know-how, money and time to do it but it sure stinks for the people with only enough money to play 2 or three tickets.
Then again, most of us know that it's mostly throwing money down a rathole anyway. But I still feel sorry for the little guys. ~

If the lottery commission KNOWS about the flaw in the system, I don't understand why the game is even still running?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

There's no loophole, they are playing a statistics game. It's a game of chance and they know that their chances are very very good if they buy 300,000 tickets. Good for them, and what a way to "game the system."

Did you also notice that the state is going to make nearly 1 BILLION off the "little people" playing 1 or 2 tickets at a time? Paying back 2 or 3 million to smart lottery players is nothing.

And remember, they'll pay about 50% of what they win back in taxes.

They do that over here with the lottery, if the jackpot has 3 rollovers and no-one has won the prizes gets 'rolled-down' but only a level or 2 so you still need to get 5+ numbers to get a good payout.
