So excited for you, Polly!
When are you going? I hope I'm responding in time. My absolute fave is the Chicken and Biscuits!!
It is DELISH! It is so huge and filling it is enough for two or three meals. Have a WONDERFUL date night, no one is more deserving than you for a night out with your hubby!
Don't forget to tell us all about it!

Not too late, and thank you.
Tomorrow night.
What is the chicken and biscuits like?
We've been looking through the movies. Lots of kid movies, but it is Summer. We think we are going to see Zookeeper. We thought about Captain America, but my DH said he never played Captain America when he was a kid. He was always Batman or another one I can't remember right now. So he figures he can wait for Captain American on Netflicks.
Then there's Cowboys and Aliens, did not interest either of us. And there are two other adult ones playing at our theater, but their content isn't anything we'd watch at home so we aren't going to watch it at the theater.~~~

It's SO yummy with chicken and mashed potatoes, biscuits, and lots of veggies, like carrots and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. You don't want to know the calorie count, but for special occasions and split into two meals, much more doable.
Can't help you with movies ~ I hardly ever go to the theater either.

mmm Cheescake Factory!!! We must have eaten there at least once a week throughout both of my pregnancies. We usually get the zucchini or fried mac n cheese balls as an appetizer, chicken piccata or farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic for an entree, and pineapple upside down or red velvet cheesecake for dessert. I also love the white chocolate macadamia cheesecake, it's just so sweet! We usually split a lunch portion of the entree and a slice of cheesecake and still leave stuffed.

It seems that chicken, any chicken is a favorite. As well as the red velvet cheesecake. I'm leaning towards the Thai chicken, but the chicken and biscuits sound really good.

Even though many of you said the portions were huge, and suggested DH and I split an entree, I know my DH is going to be looking forward to having leftovers for breakfast. So I don't see him being agreeable to that idea. But, if I ever go with a my Mom I'll do that.
FF- Movies are hard for us, there's just not a lot of good movies out there anymore. I think they crank them out so fast that they lose something. We watch a lot of older movies, black and whites, sub-titled movies, documentaries, family movies, etc. Not to say we don't like other types of movies, but when we netflick movies, these seem to be what we get most of the time. Though we absolutely love the mummy movies with Brandon Fraiser, I'm a sucker for you've got mail kind of movies, and I've been known to sit and watch Disney movies all by myself. We just have no interest in horror films, scary yes, horror no. If you can scare us by implying, then you've created a great film. We also dislike sexually explicit movies, visual or verbal. They just do not appeal to us. We like action films, as long as if you could remove all the special effects and still have a great story line. The only other thing that gets us about today's movies is all the cussing. I have to work real hard to keep myself from cussing. I do just fine most days, but if I watch an hour and a half of a movie laced with cuss words from beginning to end, I'm going to be cussing like a sailor for weeks. Drives me crazy. My DH leans on the idea that if you can't write a movie without using a cuss word every 15 seconds (sometimes it feels like that) than you are pandering to the masses. Makes it hard to pick a movie. I think we may be odd balls when it comes to movies.~~~

The Thai lettuce wrap appetizer is my favorite if I'm having dessert. It's huge, with lots of different components and you can take a long time to eat it. Other favorites of mine are the Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp or the Baja Chicken Tacos. Either the Godiva cheesecake or the Coconut cream would be my favorites.

Had a great night. Loved the Cheesecake Factory. I ordered a Typhoon Punch, DH ordered a Mojito. DH had Shrimp Scampi and Steak Diane, I had Thai Chicken Pasta. For dessert DH had Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake and I had Carrot cake. Portions were enormous.
The Zookeeper was a blast, we are so juvenile, we enjoyed every second of it. Best part of the movie was hearing my DH laugh.
We were completely wiped by the time we got home. I remember the years when we could have gone on all night. My DH said, "we are pathetic" *grins*~~~

It was the bomb! Loved the bean sprouts and the carrots.
I'd get it again.
I don't think the waitress thought much of it, seemed she was trying to talk me out of ordering it.~~~
