Crazy dream!
Have you guys ever had a dream where someone does something to make you sad or angry, and you wake up still feeling like that? I had one of those last night.
In my dream, my husband came home from somewhere with a new car and a girlfriend. At first the car was a BMW, then I think it became a VW... anyhow, in my dream his new girlfriend kept trying to play some CD and I was all "Hey, don't be playing music in here. I don't want to hear your guys' song."
The dream was just so strange, and I had it right before I woke up so I felt all sad for awhile. I just kept thinking, "My husband could never betray me like that, right? I mean, he knows how I feel about new cars, and BMW at that!" Sheesh. It was scary.

~Dreams are so bizarre and fascinating. And it's not really the content so much as what they make you feel and how you act on those feelings when you wake up and reflect.
A few nights ago I dreamt that one of my brothers had died. The sense of loss and grief was so real and painful that I just couldn't get back to sleep. In the morning I talked to my brother to tell him about it and tell him that I loved him. He'd also had a dream that night in which he'd died.
I think these highly emotional dreams are reflections of reality. Maybe I subconsciously felt a loss of my brother. Maybe he felt he's lost himself somehow. Our minds turned those intuitive feelings into death dreams.
Your dream might be a reflection of a bit of distance in an area in your relationship that you didn't even realize you were upset about, KWIM?~~Constance

I had a dream once that our creepy neighbors invited a bunch of people over to play croquet or lawn bowling. Instead of having the event on their property, they held it on ours right in our yard. Then they refused to leave even after I told them to and dh wouldn't do anything about it. I felt really irritated for an hour or so after I woke up.
When I told dh about this dream he said I must have serious control issues.

Yes I have had emotions from dreams follow me into the day. I have been angry at Dh for something he didn't even do and not really know why. Funny huh

I guess it was dream night last night because I dreamed about the meanest woman I have EVER known (someone I used to work with, totally evil). She's been gone for YEARS, and I haven't thought about her for ever so long, but there she was in my NIGHTMARE. It set the tone for my entire day. I was creeping around work all day today seeing her shadow everywhere I walked, living in dire dread she MIGHT be back somehow. Bleck!
I also once had a dream about buying cheesecake (which is ridiculous because I'm allergic to cow's milk, allergy-allergy, not lactose issue) but I bought this cheesecake, then someone in my family DIED. Since then, and it's been YEARS ago, I will not let anyone even ORDER cheesecake for dessert, let alone buy one for them or make one. Silly, I know, but that dream so so real and so disturbing!Totally debt free since January 2011.

My family hates for me to dream that someone is pregnant. Every time I do, someone dies. Typically, the closer to me the person in the dream that is pregnant is, the closer to me the person in real life who dies is.
The same holds true for when I dream someone dies. If I dream someone dies, then someone is pregnant. Typically within a month of the dream some friend or family member announces they are expecting.
Out of about ten or twelve times, twice the pregnancy dream/someone dies scenario has not come true. Both times I told everyone I could think of about the dream. Sounds silly, but I had a dream I was pregnant this week and have been telling everyone in hope of warding off any bad mojo. Yep, I am slightly superstitious.
BTW, BMWs are awesome cars! DH gave me a used one for Christmas 2003 and I LOVED it. When I found out he totaled it, I was so devastated, the first thing I asked the guy who came to tell me my DH was in a wreck down the street was not "How is my husband?" Instead I said, "Oh no! How's my BMW."
Gosh I wish I had that car back.
