    Default Toilet bowl cleaner

Ok my friends I've looked and am unable to find a recipe for something to clean toilet bowls with any help? Hubby loves the laundry detergent.

    diswashing liquid or bleach.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

havent found anything better than "the works" toilet bowl cleaner and for $1 a bottle at dollar tree that lasts a week or so with a little squirt every other day it's cheap enough I haven't found the need to make my own. I usually only use it every other morning, then on off morning just swish with the toilet brush itself.

I pour in about 1/2 cup of bleach just before bed so it can sit and work all night. When I get up in the am it's clean.

My first thought was "Dishwashing liquid...seriously?" Next I thought "Oh why the hell not?" And I hightailed it to the bathroom and tried it out...it works!! And I used my el-cheapo soap that I refill the handsoap dispenser with!

Thank you, thank you, thank you...this is an easy way to save money.

When I don't have 'commercial' toilet cleaner, I just dump a little (1/4 cup?) chlorine bleach into it and swish. Don't get it on your clothes, though.

Pour a cup of vinegar in it at bedtime and then flush in the morning. We have a septic also.
