Ready for fall!
Is anyone else ready for autumn? I want to decorate with pumpkins, head to the pumpkin patch, enjoy cool winter nights, drink hot cocoa whenever I want!

No. Seems like we got cheated out of summer here. Plus I take Ds to college Wed. so no hurry. Plus I need to get some training in for the 2 new puppy/dogs and won't be shut in w/ them before I do.
I do love all those things though-hot choc, cider, donuts, colored leaves and that sound the crunchy ones make in the wind. I love black walnuts and fall apple picking, hay rides out to the picking area. I love the sound of honking geese and the crispness in the mornings, campfires and the feeling to hurry and gather before winter. But-not just yet.

ME ! ME! ME! I LOVE FALL!!!! so tired of it being soooo hot and not being able to spend any time outdoors because it has been so miserable...just want fall to last a loooong time!!!! I have been burning my fall scented candles and have been chomping at the bit to haul out the fall decorations! it is my favorite time to decorate because I leave them out from late Aug-early Sept clear thru Thanksgiving...by the way, Bath and Body have some wonderful candle scents this year. Salty Caramel, Marshmallow Campfire....oh so yummy...and I got them with a 20% off coupon!!! LOVE IT!!!!

I'm always ready for fall (my favorite season) but here in Georgia we are still having temps and humidiyt in the high 90s.
Some years it doesn't feel or look like fall till way into October. *sigh*

I love fall colors and decor. I probably won't do any this year inside at least. We are building a house and hoping to be in it by Thanksgiving so I'm in the process of packing things up a little at a time to get ready for the move. I may have to do a few fall things at least on the porch.

Yes--I love fall and even though our temps here in Virginia are still high--I feel the weather changing. I do love me some pumpkin pie, apple cake and hot chocolate.

I'm with frugalwarrior and Jayne.
We have two types of summer here usually: the gross icky humid super hot type where you have to hide indoors to be able to breathe and the traditional type - its hot outside but not too hot that you need a/c 24/7 but you can survive with open windows and fans. We've already had the first icky type of summer (was wonderful for my wedding - not!) and we're starting to have the traditional type which I'm loving. I love fresh air with a breeze coming through my open windows. I miss days where its nice and hot but not so hot in the car you need a/c on.
I do love the fall though - cool mornings/evenings, warm sunny days, beautiful fall colours, delish baked goods etc. The only thing I don't like about fall is that all the marking teams in North America think that fake overpowering scent of cinnamon = fall/Thanksgiving/Christmas. Im OK with cinnamon but when every store you walk past/go into assaults your nose with it, I disagree.
I just want a bit more of a comfortable summer before fall starts moving in
And BlissMommy - and here I thought I was the only one looking towards fall but only for the 'fall cleaning'
(aka the other half of my spring cleaning)

I love fall , all except the kids going back to school. I am not looking forward to the insane homework . I think I hate them going back more than they do. It feels like our whole life is hijacked for homework . I am looking forward to the weather changing and burning my fall candles and sweatshirts and sweaters and NO AC .

i am soooooooooo ready for the fall!! i love everything about it. i also am thinking about my decoraions but.......... not until sept. 1st!! lol i am usually the first in the neighborhood to put them out and i feel i am too early..........but it hasn't stopped me yet....lol right now we are out on the deck and the humidity is oppressive. i feel like my face is melting off. but a big storm coming in a few hours with possible flooding and high winds.
it is already getting darker earlier....not by much....but enough...and i have certain plants that are a sign of fall as they die early.......so the signs are there.....yeah fall!!!
