You could incyst that you have surgery...
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

That's not bad but it would really only work in writing.

I'm done. I came in yesterday morning and they scheduled me for 1 pm surgery. The doctor that was doing the surgery had an unexpected delivery she had to attend to so I didn't get into surgery till about 6. I was sooo hungry. Anyway I'm all done, unhooked and fed (finally) and very happy to get it over with! I should be getting out of here within a couple hours.

Unfortunately, it was not an alien baby. She did give us pictures of the insides of me though, which is about equally gross.

She told me it would be several days before I can resume any heavy physical activity, so I figure about a week before I can start my walking again. I'm supposed to wait until I get the go ahead from my doctor after the followup, but because she's not in my network I can't really follow up with her. I'm going to have to find another ob to follow up with, and that's going to be at least two weeks.

I like tricare and I've always felt very fortunate to have it, but it's totally let me down this week.

I'm really bummed that this has interrupted my couch to 5k program. I figure though that if I continue my weight watchers program and lose a few pounds during this time, that will improve my running, too.

Thanks again for your well wishes and bad jokes. I'm soooo glad this is over with!
