"If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down".
Like others, peeing in the shower, for me, isn't about saving water or money. It's convenient and ends up in the same place anyway. Plus you're already in an excellent position to wash it off. Urine is sterile when it leaves the body. I've read in more than one place that urine can be an effective treatment for acne and skin rashes. Up to you if you want to believe it or not.
Some people just have their "hang ups" that are based on perception rather than fact. Nothing wrong with that, so long as it's understood that it just feels "icky" rather than being a legitimate health concern.

I aim to please!

What's soooo funny about this to me is that I would be sooooo much more grossed out by pulling hair out of the drain than anything else!!
I can't, don't & won't pull food ick out of the kitchen sink with my bare hand!!!

Any parent can tell you, pee and poo wash off. Heck, every one of us has peed and pood on themselves at some time. Ain't a one of us here who was born potty trained.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

We don't pay water rates in NI yet, so this is not an issue. If it was, I still think it would be too weird to wee in the shower. The years of having it drilled into me that doing so is gross would win out over saving money in this house!
Same here.
I am indescribably grossed out by food or hair stuck in the sink hole. I can only touch that kind of debris with kitchen roll
