Village Poll ~ Do You Pee In The Shower to Save Water?
Yes, I'm really asking you this
If you are getting in the shower anyway - do you wait to pee in the shower to avoid wasting water by flushing the toilet?
Or... do you pee in the shower.... well, just because you can?

Do tell.... do tell.....
I'll be happy to go first ~ yes, I do. I purposly wait until I get into the shower as to avoid flushing the toilet.
I'm still trying to convience my boys that it's alright to do such -

I read somewhere that it's good for you to pee in the shower. Don't really remember why. Something about the urinary tract?

sorry but ewww
if the shower is running the pee may not go down the drain immediately but rather sit in your feet mixed with the water .
i wouldnt teach my kids to do something that would get them ostracised for doing it at a friends house or camps etc
i know quite a few sitcoms that had this in the story line and it was not looked upon well and if it was done in a public place like a gym and or a pool shower would be considered bodily fluid exposure .
dh
seems cleaner to just all pee in the morning and flush afterwards - many people dont flush for urine alone - but at least you dont sit or stand in your toilet like you do in your bathtub*~Debbi~*

Yes, Sometimes, but not often
I was not really doing it to be thrifty but maybe I will start doing it more regularly. Hmmmm, ponderous indeed.Right is right even if no one else is doing it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone else is doing it.

This is funny! I don't pee in the shower but.....dh and ds always give me a hard time and tell me it is such a shame I can't just stand up and pee.......I tell them I can and I do....in the shower! The first time I said that they both looked horrified, now they know I'm just kidding when I say it!

Now that's funny to me because I would NEVER not flush the toilet!
That's disgusting to me, but I'm sure other people may think it's no big deal.
Oh, and I'd agree that it's a creepy thought of doing so in PUBLIC or someone else's home - that's NOT really what I'm referring to here -
That's a WHOLE different ball game, goes along with people that have sex while visiting other people's homes!!! Ackkkk!!!Don't Breed or Buy While Shelter Pets Die

No, I do not. However, I know darn well my husband does, and I hear gross nostral sounds coming from there. It is heathen. That is why I do not share a bathroom with him, and why he must pay a housekeeper to come in. God bless her soul.

Let’s start with a few facts: Toilet flushing accounts for almost 27 percent of indoor water use in a home. The amount used per flush ranges from a gallon in eco-friendly models to a whopping seven in older types. Where are we going with this? We beseech you: Save water. Save the planet! Pee in the shower! OK, we won’t insist. But it isn’t really that gross. Unless you have an infection, urine is sterile and nontoxic. Proponents of “urine therapy” even believe it can help treat athlete’s foot. Heck, Dr. Billy freely admits that he is a shameless shower squirter.Don't Breed or Buy While Shelter Pets Die
