    Default Harvesting Before the Storm!

Anyone else making a mad dash to harvest what's in the garden before Irene hits?? With 75 mph winds and torrential downpours I figured I get what I could out of the garden today! Living next to a major river (and I mean literally next to) I'm more concerned with flooding but having toughed out Gloria on Long Island in '85, I know those kinds of winds aren't anything to mess with! Be safe all you villagers in Irene's path!!

~I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if my tomato tower will hold up and if it goes over my 4 plants will be killed. I don't know if I should grab all the green tomatoes off or not.~

Thats what I pondered when we had the tornado warning the other night - I harvested what I could before the supposed hail was to attack.
