Boy what a summer--glad school is around the corner....
So on July 30th my daughter was attacked by a dog. (I had posted about that in another thread). So for the last month we have been dealing with the ramifications of that--stitches, lotions, hats, no sun for a length of time etc....
Then 2 weeks later my grandmother died peacefully in her sleep, and we got the call that my uncle was going home to be on hospice. His cancer had spread to his brain, bone and muscle-he was at peace with his fate.
Four days after he came home he passed away with his 2 sisters, 2 kids and brother surrounding him...
I'm telling you---I am ready for school, my new nephew to be born, and good things to happen....
Thanks for listening..Bonnie mom to

~Aww, that's rough. I'm sorry for your losses.
I'm trying to figure out what school has to do with anything but maybe it's the sense of order in the school routine?
I used to find that comforting when I was a student. Not so much now that I teach my own kids.
Whatever happened to the aggressive dog? Was it put down?~~Constance
