Not so happy Monday

UGH! We are moving this week into a new house and so far Monday hasn't been all that great. The money I was going to use to pay back a loan now has to go to hubby's new tire that he needs for his truck. Someone sliced his tire last night. Then I got a phone call that my uncle is in ICU and they live 6 hours away, so I'm just stressing over that. Plus, my Monday keeps getting filled with all these little extras here and there that I just wasn't expecting. I still have to buy my boys new bunk beds this week too and money is going to be sooo tight, they might end up having to wait a week now. Did I forget to mention that I don't have any groceries in the house yet? EEK! Thank you for letting me share my stress.

In the midsts of a move, myself, so you have my sympathy. Hasn't rained here in over two months, and yet the week we're moving it is nothing but RAIN predicted. My adult daughter also totalled her car last Friday and needs some assistance getting into a new-to-her car. It's always something. I've just been trying to count my blessings lately (rain is not a flood here, thank God, and daughter and all in accident were not hurt, again, thank God!). Hope the rest of your move goes well.

Thank you, Owl. I'm trying to do the same, just look at our many blessings. I think I'll be happier once we are all settled in. Good luck with your move too and I hope your daughter is all okay.

Hugs...everything will work itself out it it always does doesn't it somehow..I'm trying to get out of a rut myself stree wise then I read about poor Darlene losing her home to a flood and think how lucky I really am that at least I have a home to live in and things could be so much worse...

Let your boys "camp" in their new room for a week or two until you can get their beds. Boys being boys they'll love it. Make it an adventure for them. (Unless they're teens in which case nothing you do will please them so don't sweat it.)
