The house we live in now ( My DHs grandparents home) had a beehive under the floorboards in one of the bedrooms upstairs. My FIL is a beekeeper, so he and another beekeeper friend came, took up floorboards, smoked the bees , removed the honey combs, and the bees to a hive. We got some really great honey from the hive!
