One of my clients lives in a retirement living center and she tells me she and her cat can here buzzing in the walls of her bathroom. I believe her, though the apartment maintenance crew does not seem to think there is an issue.

I had a similar problem in a house in Dallas. Bees in the wall next to the fireplace. I could not get anyone to come out and take them, despite ads from beekeepers who said they'd relocate hives. Shutting up the holes didn't stop them. As far as I know the current tenants are still living with them.

Coworker discovered that bees had moved into his attic and were eating his ceiling drywall in his vaulted, cathedral style ceilings.
Fortunately a few treatments of a high powered insecticide applied all around the nest took care of the bees - but it was a serious worry for him for a few weeks. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I thought I had heard somewhere that the bee population was seriously dwindling. That surely doesn't make it look like it. I would have been scared to stay there for a bit.
