So beautiful here today!

It's "All Summer in a Day" (thanks to Ray Bradbury) here in the midwest today. 72 degrees, sunshine, gentle breeze.... Wow....
Just finished a slice of homemade cheesecake out on the deck at the little red bistro table. Just hubby and me, and cheesecake and rootbeer. We had been in drought this summer, but thanks to rain yesterday, the lawn has greened, and the tree leaves look clean and sparkly. I opened the casement windows after church, and the sheers just danced in the breeze. The neighborhood is quiet except for the children next door laughing. It an absolutely perfect day. I want to hug it and hold it close....

Aww, that sounds idyllic. Enjoy every minute! Pretty awesome here today, too. We have an annual church service on Labor Day weekend outside among the pine trees, with a picnic lunch right after. Look forward to it all year and it was such a great morning. Beautiful, cool and crisp today, fall is definitely in the air. I'm lovin' it!
