    Maybe you should explain to him how many things that you buy last more than just one week. So some weeks you don't need much and some weeks, when you are out of a lot of items that last longer than one week you might need more. You do your best to keep the overall budget low but some weeks will naturally be higher than others.

    I think he knows that. We had just had a budget overhaul meeting and were working on cutting down some categories and bills. I think he was just making sure I had not gotten carried away. We all have been enjoying the meals and there is pelenty to snack on sometimes they just need help seeing it.
