Anyone else order an Angel Food box this month to no avail?

We ordered Angel Food this month - for the first time in a very long time. Their website was revamped, they had a lot more choices than in years past, and the selection was really good. So we placed an order online, paid for it with our debit card. Then I found out that Angel Food isn't going to distribute for the month of September and there is speculation that they may or may not be back in business. No one knows. They day they made the announcement, the payment for our order hit our bank. We've not been refunded yet. We spent $155 on it.

I really, really need that money back!

I've never ordered but I've been thinking about...googled it and this is the results:

If it were me, I would contact them as soon as possible...

Did you order via cc/debit? If so, file a dispute with your cc company or bank. Best of luck to you.

Their website says they are processing full refunds for Septembers orders

They are looking at restructuring and hope to be providing food at a low cost.

Yeah, but if you dig deeper you can find articles about top management misusing funds and they are being sued. I really, really hope all it is is a bad month and they will be back with bells on next month! I'm going to give it till the weekend is over and if I still don't have my refund I'll call the bank to dispute the charge.

This is funny that you posted this (not funny "haha" funny, like in coincidence funny). I was just talking to my friend about ordering a box. We had gotten together this evening and I brought my laptop for us to look at some stuff. If I find a good deal on things, we will order things together or split things up. Lots of times with the Angel Food boxes, we will trade things out between us for things that we could use. It usually works out that what she doesn't need, we do. We hit the AF website and were like, "guess we won't be ordering this month".

I ordered a few boxes in the past.. was ok
I thought i could find better deals with some of the items.
but some weeks.. it was easier on my busy schedule!!
So thats too bad the company didnt make it!

Oh no! I never ordered but thought they helped many people and were a great program. Hope all works out for them to be back if possible. Sorry I hope you get your money back right away, if not like others have said file a dispute. Good luck and blessings.

Bless your heart hope you get your money back. I've never ordered but had a couple of friends that use to get bx's of food. It only cost 21.50 then went to 25.00. Is the 155 for a mths worth? TC

It was for five separate boxes. Two that were the same and then three others from the choices they had available.

I used to get them when I was in nursing school. A few months ago, I read people had to bring your own box but then that changed. Now......no distribution for Sept. I know there are people who count on those boxes every month. I hope it gets worked out. I believe you get a turkey for the month of November and to not have this program will hurt a lot of people.

I have ordered from them in the past but feel that in my town I could get the items cheaper by just buying them at the store. However I know that other parts of the country the price would be really good deal. I am sorry to hear that they are not doing well as I know a lot of people really rely on them.

I am so bummed. We used it to get most of our meat and a few "treats" for the kids like chicken nuggets. This ain't gonna help my already strapped budget.
