    Default google welcome page.....disappointing!!

    It would have been nice to see google do something more on their welcome page today. I find the lack of acknowledgment very disappointing to say the least. I realize there is a little black flag and link you can click but considering how they go all out for various birthdays, artists, inventions, holidays, etc....they sure could do something more for September 11th. A lot more!!!
    Right is right even if no one else is doing it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone else is doing it.

    Bing did a much better job with the picture. It is hard to know the right way to express the sentiment of the day.

    That is all Google does for Memorial Day also. I read something somewhere that they didn't want to take away from the seriousness of the day or something like that.
