I have a friend who was my 3rd grade teacher. It is so hard to for me to call her by her first name. LOL We became friends because we both quilt. I also shop at a local antique store that is owned my my 7th grade math teacher. Again hard to call him by his first name. What makes it so odd for me is that when I my 3rd grade teacher I thought she was so old and then she ended up being my daughters 5th grade teacher, of course that was her last year teaching.

It's really great reconnecting with people from our past, isn't it?

I reconnected with my old grade school principal when I was about 30. She had always been a great lady.

Glad you got to see her! Bet she loved seeing you all grown up and running a business!
