it is better to wait til at least late oct..even into mid-november as flu season starts then and doesnt end til march....just some advice a family friend who is GP gave us.

We get ours free through work. I've been pondering whether I want to get it. My husband will because he's prone to getting sick. I am never sick. I don't want to jinx myself. I guess I should though.

I've never had one but am thinking about getting one. Dh and I got sick as a dogs when the h1n1 went around.

Well, I got a nice case of the flu before I could even get the vaccine.
I thought I was just getting over it, then ran a bit of a temp again. Think it's now gone to sinusitis and/or bronchitis. I have SUCH a hard time getting rid of these things as I get older!!
As soon as I'm well enough, I'm getting the shot. Don't want any more.______

We are getting flu shots through our county on Tuesday, they are free thank goodness.
