out of it
Is anyone else just out of it right now? I just can not seem to put my finger on it? maybe it is growing older, the weather being a little cooler, or worried about grandma. But I am in a sort of a fog now. Nothing wrong here just feel blahhhhhh.

Other than the comment about Grandma, I can totally relate with your words. We are even the same age so I cannot rule out the growing older thing. Hmmm, ponderous.
Right is right even if no one else is doing it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone else is doing it.

I have been very forgetful since the earthquake, hurricane, and the cat getting sick. Feel like my regular rhythm in life has been thrown out of wack.

I've never really noticed a change as we head into fall, but this year I'm kinda where you are. Although I did have surgery two weeks ago Monday (appendectomy), and we are very worried financially, and school (my job) just started up again. . . I'm going to be plugging in our "sun" lights this evening, maybe that's it.
Vermont has two seasons: Wintah and the Fourth of July.

"Raises hand". I am this way every year as we head into fall. It started as a child. It probably is the lack of sunshine (and warmth). I lived awhile in Florida and never had the problem. I really, really dread going into winter. They are so LONG up here, and none of us likes winter sports (other than sitting by the wood fire drinking hot chocolate-lol).
Other people love fall, but for me it is just everything dying. Morbid, I know. I try to block things out by decorating for the holidays "to-the-max", to change my focus.

i have had so many changes this year i keep pushing the reset button. Ds went off to college, dad had surgery, lost my best dog,got 2 new dogs,DD went back to comm. college. Plus the fact that DH's company keeps going thru changes has us in a whirl then a fog. I think w/ me,its just being bombarded by too much, floating for awhile then regrouping. And yes age and health are definate factors.

There is a serious case of this running rampant in my workplace. One of the girls said "it just seems like nobody is paying attention" in general. That pretty much sums it up to me.
