Hi, everyone! From, The New Kid.
How did you hear about frugal village?
I was googling "debt snowballing" and found a thread here. I thought the site was fantastic, so here I am!
What interests you here?
I think it will be helpful to have a community here of people who may be in the same boat I am with the same goals, etc. so I feel I can relate more to other people and get ideas, or just commiserate.
What will you contribute?
Whatever I can - support, words of encouragement, a laugh now and then.
Do you know any other members here?
nope.
How many kids? Ages?
Two kiddos. 10 and 12.
Tell us about yourself.
I lead a pretty boring life. I read a lot. I like to bake. I stay at home and do my best just to keep up with the house and everything. I don't work (for pay, outside the home) because of health issues. But I am very pleased that my kids lead such rich lives with lots of outside interests, friends, activities, clubs, sports, etc. I am a total homebody who would be happy just to be inside my house all day, but I am raising two kids who are always on the go. It's pretty funny.
Do you own any pets?
We have a couple rats.
We had a kitty for about 10 years but she went missing a few months ago and never came home. We're all missing her very much.
Occupation?
Mom.
Married or single?
Happily single for almost 3 years now.
Interests and hobbies?
see above. reading, baking, mom, home life. The end.
Nice to meet you all! Glad to be here!
And you can call me Phenom. Mostly because I'm paranoid about internet safety.
