Talking Thanks Frugal Village for changing my mind set

I just wanted to thank all of you for changing my mindset, to being more frugal.

The best example I have yet is from recently: I usually buy Lulu Lemon yoga pants that cost $98.00 CAD(They are good quality), since I am not able to afford them currently I found similar pants at Costco for $18.99 CAD. I actually have a few friends who have them as well and love them. I never would have thought that being frugal can be so liberating. I am frugal to a point; however, I usually enjoy some luxuries in my life just like some of you.

The comment my DH made after I told what I did was,"great now we can pay off that mortgage sooner!", we have bought our first home last year in May, we have been in it for almost a year, in that year we shaved 15 years off our mortgage.

Thanks again, for changing my way of thinking there's always a better way to get what you need for less.

    Sincerly,

    Jeanette

Great job with shaving off years on the mortgage. It is liberating to be in charge of and a master of your own money through good decisions isn't it?

By the way love Lulu yoga pants as well , they rock!! Also do like the Costco ones...hehe

It always feels good to stretch a dollar as far as it can go. Feels great when you have control of you bills and some savings and financial security.
