    I don't think it's illegal to sell a car with a scrap title. It's just illegal to drive them.

    we have had a couple with salvage titles, you can fix them and have them inspected and then you can drive them if they pass

    That's weird. I guess you guys have a scrap and a salvage title. In ohio you can get a salvage title, but i guess we don't have a scrap title. My stepdad totaled his truck and had to get a salvage title for insurance purposes, then he bought the truck back from the yard and paid to have it converted back to a regular title.

    I know someone who can not take no for an answer. Really is commical sometimes watching her talk about someone not doing what she wants or giving her an answer she does not like.

    Welcome to the "Rights of entitlement club". My MIL is a charter member.
    -once bribed a realtor to report a devalued price on a very nice mobile home she wanted to buy just before going and filing bankruptcy
