    Default Yeah a lazy weekend!

Yeah for lazy weekends! I'm so sick of all the traveling lately for not very fun reasons. Woo hoo it is done until Jan as long as nothing happens.

So what is everyone doing with their weekend? Dh and I will be kid free tonight LOL we are excited to be lazy and do nothing!

So what are you up too?

I am doing a bit of house cleaning. A friend is stopping by today to add some of my junk to his junk for a dump run.....yay!! I plan on doing some Halloween decorating and lastly I am hoping to finally get some panels sewed to cover some shelving areas in my laundry room.

Music is playing, I am enjoying a cup of coffee and all in all life is good!

I went out for breakfast with a friend and she decided to treat me.
Will be soaking in the hottub later on
Finally, a nap is definitely in the plans for later.

TMI: I'm having alot of pain in my stomach right now and my menstral came 2 day's ago? I need to take some medicine and feel better so I can get my house back in order..Dh & I along with our 2 younger fella's (my oldest has to work) are suppose to go to Lowes (I'm real excited) and look at a new Front door,a Storm door,Basement windows and insulation to make our home more energy efficient.. I have spent a week looking at the online store to decide what I want..I really can't wait! I need to buy a new Foodsaver since my stopped working and that's my #1 priority so as to not losing my food to freezer burn..I can't praise the Foodsaver enough from personal experience..I will buy that at SamsClub..I also need to buy some more Towel's & Hand towel's..Going to Shoprite and buy more of the $1.99lb hamburger..Then we are going to one of our favorite all you can eat Chinese buffet that has sushi..Yes a very busy and fun Saturday..

Tomorrow not sure? I hope that my dh & fella's will split some more wood to bring down in the basement for our woodstove..I need to organize my shelves in the basement so I can make room to put my 52 cans of veggies I got on sale yesterday in their designated spot and do a inventory on canned food that I need to replemish...I will also need to Foodsaver the hamburger..That's all I can think of for now..It will be a pretty productive weekend..

Well today was busy organizing and putting together Christmas ornaments for sale.

Tomorrow will be a big church potluck, plus I'll be singing at services. And then company comes in the afternoon for the evening/night?

Would have killed for a lazy weekend this weekend.

7:30 am flu shots for the kids and I
After that, Dh went to church for the day, as he's spending every Saturday helping people in the area who were hit hard by Irene. So, it was just me and the kids for the rest of the day.
11:00 We took Dd to her voice lessons
2:45 We took Dd and her friend to tennis lessons (through the rec department)
3:30 Ds1 had a football game in the drizzle

In between all that there was the regular household chores like laundry and making dinner and general clean-up and dealing with the baby who was having a "hold me, don't put me down" day, but he's so darn cute, I don't mind for a second.

Dh and I tried to watch a movie downstairs, but we both started to fall asleep on the couch, so now we're upstairs, surfing a bit before we fall asleep for real.

I used to be all chores during the week day evenings after work and on weekends I'd be out all over the place with friends living it up. And now...I love lazy weekends. I guess the winds of change has hit me and now its my preference.

I hope y'all enjoy your lazy weekends to those who are having them

We just stayed close to home. Hubby had to work, boys got haircuts, and baby girl had a pageant that she did very well in. Other than that, we are just trying to save on money.

I feel like the odd man out! I hate weekends when I have nothing to do! It makes for a very looong weekend, and I'm crabby when I go back to work.

I try to pack my weekends of things to do, just so I don't have to be sitting around at home. I love to be kept busy, the more the better
