Default It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month....

Ladies and Gents, just a reminder to do your self-exams and schedule your mammograms if you're over 40! Early detection can truly save your life or keep you in the "limited" fate category.

Speaking from experience as I face my second surgery tomorrow! I'm getting my upper deck construction work done. I am a lucky lucky person to have noticed a change on my own and went in for a checkup. Got surgerized but I avoided chemo and radiation..... but some of my friends have not been so lucky.

I am not a crazed "Support Finding the Cure" by buying everything pink type of BC survivor But I do find it VERY important to raise awareness that self-exams and early detection are extremely important.

    Thanks, Sumacaroni, for the reminder.

I lost a good friend to breast cancer in the mid-90's, and my sister went through it in the mid-2000's, but has been cancer-free for about 8 years now.
