Greebo, your not listening...your so intent on being right and having the last word that you are not listening to what I have been trying to say....
so be it..I have no more to say about this topic other than what I have been trying to say all along...there are underlying reasons why this woman has deliberately went out on a witch hunt against BIG Corporations.
Happy now?

No, Kate, I have listened - I've read the material - and the stuff you're bringing in is not relevant.
Meanwhile you steadfastly refuse to answer the simple question about whether or not Wal*Mart/K-Mart should get away with what they were doing.
I don't care what her personal agenda may be - if Wal*Mart was overcharging, she was RIGHT in her actions.so be it..I have no more to say about this topic other than what I have been trying to say all along...there are underlying reasons why this woman has deliberately went out on a witch hunt against BIG Corporations. If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I tend to take in all angles of a person's intent and motive before I render a verdict on whether or not they should be praised as a hero...YMMV though as it appears to....Whatever though.....
So, I guess the next time I or anyone else goes to WalMart those Banquet Sausages will now be $1.02 so they can cover such frivolous lawsuits. And I'll be thinking of Mary when I'm at the checkout paying the higher price for them.

Really? But you ignore whether a company is bilking its customers?
Don't worry, they'll probably only be marked as $1.00 so you won't notice anyway, unlike Mary. So, I guess the next time I or anyone else goes to WalMart those Banquet Sausages will now be $1.02 so they can cover such frivolous lawsuits. Since you apparently have a *need* to get the last word So Be It!
As far as taking *notice* of something if you read the article correctly you would have seen that the packaging from Banquet had it already marked as $1.00 - Guess it will now go up to $1.02 cause of frivolous lawsuits like Mary's .......it's too bad you can't see the forest through the trees and see what this is suit is really all about. Pitty that....

Sorry about the grapes. I was being facetious.I do think that if WalMart hauled everyone away for stealing grapes, munching on peanuts and the Brachs at the bins on each and every shopping trip they make, it would be like Grand Central Station with cop cars and jails would be full. It would also be filling up the courts with these types of lawsuits. Sigh.Just raise the prices a few pennies Wally. Someone needs to put a Wanted poster of this granny in the breakroom. A BOLO.Maybe WalMart should hire her as a quality assurance officer. Give her something to do, and help them get those pesky prices right.I personally would put her in Loss Prevention. By the produce. She would save that store a mint.
