If it helps give perspective to the picture of the cellar entrance, our drive way is on the other side of the enclosed cubby and the trees belong to our neighbor across the street. So our plan is to keep the entrance private and it has a gate that opens into our back yard.

Greebo and Ceashels, your home improvement project looks like just the thing for one of those before and after tv shows. Wouldn't it be nice if you could find a host?
I can see it now...designers, engineers, a dozen workmen, and a photographer. And another challenge conquered.

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

You made that look pretty easy Greebo! WTG on all your projects. Still waiting for my retinas/ears to calm down after seeing/hearing about the tube sock & sandal combo.
That's just not right.

Your basement looks a lot like our's did before we did our DIY renovation! Are you going to leave it open since you have a beam, or divide it up?
Be glad you don't live here, our city just passed an ordinance that all repairs to rental properties have to be done by a licensed contractor....even a leaking toilet. Yeah right, like that's going to happen!
