Do you shop at Amazon for groceries?

i have ordered many things from Amazon. I understand that they are trying to compete with WM. That's cool with me! I just learned from a co-worker that they have non gmo seeds and plants too!! I plan on buying from Amazon and take advantage of every sale I can get. I hope it is cheaper! If I can get a free shipping every now and then, it will be worth it.

Valerian - that was how I ended up buying mac & cheese. Around here they have quit selling just the regular Annie's mac & cheese (the shape of the kraft version - which is the only shape my son will eat) and after searching for months I found a deal on Amazon. I got them for $1.42 a box - a tad bit higher than the best sale around here, but since I could never find it here it was worth it.

The grocery stores around here quit selling Waffle Crisp, but Amazon had it. I thought that cereal was sooooo tasty just like waffles and syrup!

Apparently you can subscribe to a food shipment and get a lower price. I checked PB. $14 for 6 jars, shipped, but only $12 shipped when you subscribe to regular shipments.
That's a good deal! That PB brand is $.20 higher at WM and $1 higher at the grocery.

That particular brand may be higher at walmart. However, buying that peanut butter from Amazon is almost 65% higher per ounce than buying Walmart's house brand. The jars at Amazon are all of 15 ounces, and Walmart's are 40 ounces, for less than twice the price. That's a HUGE difference, and makes Amazon a really rotten deal!

I've rarely found Amazon to be cheaper for any groceries than local supermarket sales and/or Costco. In fact, it is usually way more expensive than either. I could see doing it for some specialty items that aren't sold elsewhere, but for normal food? Eh...

I use it for specialty flour and other hard to find ingredients. I also usually use the gift cards I earn through swagbucks so it tends to be "free" to me. It always feels great to get a shipment of things I normally can't afford using swagbucks since it doesn't impact my grocery budget to get them.

I just got a great deal on Stash Earl Gray.... 6 boxes for $10.10 which is cheaper than I can get it in the store
