Default What is your favorite Sesame Street memory??

My first memory of Sesame Street was when I was a pre schooler.

We had a black and white tv that I watched Sesame Street on. My parents decided to buy a color tv.

The first show they turned on the tv was Sesame Street.

Mom in here excitement over the color tv asked "Did you know Big Bird was yellow?" I looked at her nuts and said "Yes, I have know that a long time"

I have a favorite Mister Rogers memory too?

I think those are the only two shows I watched as a pre-schooler.

I absolutely loved Snuffaluffagus. He always reminded me of my Uncle Bill, who has now passed away.

the monster at the end of the book. I remember that one from my childhood. I never wanted to turn the page. Not because I was afraid of the monster that was to be a the end of the book but because Grover was so scared and was asking me not to.

I grew up way too long ago for Sesame Street, but what often comes to mind when I think of it is a blurb I saw in TV Guide, or similar publication. Along with all the drama and soaps descriptions, there was Sesame Street: "The Count counts to 10." For some reason that struck me as hilarious.

I love the Christmas play on the Sesame Street Christmas album, and the all time Christmas great - Oscar's "I Hate Christmas!"

I loved when they realized that snuffy was real and not a figment of Big Birds imagination. But I love the Count and Oscar.

I was always looked at funny when i have my old address .People would say "your kidding me right? Ummm no look it up. I googled it this morning , if you go to google maps and type in Sesame Street, Torrance Ca. It will show up. I lived there from age 4 to around 11 Lived near the pool. I hated that pool my brother threw me off the diving board, (Looks like diving board no longer there) Thats where i get my fear of swimming. I was like 5. I can go in the ocean, lake river rafting but you get me in a pool Oh he@@ no. Funny how things like that put a fear in us.
