Not sure if there's any hockey fans here... Winnipeg Jets re-enter the league today in about 40 minutes. If ever there was a Cinderella story in sports, this is it. I remember very well when they left 15 years ago, I pretty much stopped following any sports whatsoever. During the preseason, the atmosphere at the MTS Center was like Game 7 of the playoffs. Tonight, it's the real deal, home (and regular season) opener against the Habs (Montreal Canadians). Gonna be a good game, a few friends are at the arena now. One day, this game will likely be a trivia question.

We watched the game while having Thanksgiving dinner. It was a heartbreaking loss, but I would have given anything to be there! We'd love to go to some games this season, but it looks like we'll be out of luck, unless we find someone selling their tickets.

I was so sad when the Jets left, I grew up watching them. Loved going to the games when we lived in Winnipeg, always wearing white! I became a Vancouver fan, since DH is a BC boy, and that is his team. Still like the Canucks, but the Jets will always have my heart!

I hope the Jets do well this year, I'm glad to see them back.

First check in the "win" column last night, 2-1 against Pittsburgh. Jets scored 8 seconds into the game and played hard. Great game, looked like a team last night. Hope they keep it up.

Loved that win! I've always liked Kyle Wellwood, even back when he played in Toronto and Vancouver!

I think we're going to spend the $50 and get the TSN Jets channel for the rest of the season. Cheap entertainment when you break it down per game.
