Default SMISHING - a new scam

Just another news story regarding a new type of scam.

They are using the big bank names, so be wary.

So sad! Those crooks are smart and could really do a lot of good with that knowledge if they were so inclined.

See this is what I think...why not use your talents and get a legal job that is not screwing over innocent people...sad is what it is.

i get that call all the time except it just says your account has been frozen...
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

I got one of these. I hung up and called the bank back. It was a scam.

I got one of them too. I believed it since my son has an account there and I a card for the account. I didn't call back, but figured I would stop in the bank next time around. Glad I didn't.

We have gotten 2 of these emails in the past couple of weeks. Checked the first one out with our bank, in person, and they said it is a scam. Just deleted the second one.
