I have to share this, I am sure the other pet owners out there will get a kick out of it.

The Couch and loveseat have been here for a little over a month now. Thomas (cat) and I both really like them. When I was shopping one of my concerns was that he would scratch it, so I made sure to get one that had a cloth upholstery as cloth is more forgiving than leather. Leather seems to be the standard now though. Well he runs into the living room routinely and scratches the old chair but NOT the loveseat and couch.

The other day I was sitting on the couch, and hit the cushion beside me making a noise. He comes running in to see what is going on. I do it again and he gently reaches up from the floor and grabs my hand and gives me a stern look. I do it a third time and he grabs my hand with both paws, sinks in his claws and bites me.

Yeah, my cat is trying to take better care of our new furniture than me.
