Default I bought a new couch and love seat!

I purchased my last couch and chair from Goodwill for a total of $20. I had kept it for 4 years and between me and my cat we had pretty much destroyed the old thing. When I moved at the end of August I threw away the couch and kept the chair simply because I had to have something until I could get something else.

I ordered a couch from Roomstore a little over 3 weeks ago that was to be delivered by last Friday for about $1000. It had a 1 year warrenty and wasn't a name brand, but seemed to be of good quality and the cheapest new reclining couch I could find at the time. When I called Friday afternoon to check on it I was told they had backordered it and it would now be the end of November. I got mad and cancelled my order.

Well yesterday I go online to Lazyboy and find a great couch for $800. I go to the Lazyboy store last night and they have the one I want in stock AND they are on sale. I got the couch for 649 and the loveseat for 599. Both have lifetime warrenties, so I will just have to have them reupholstered sometimes in the future.

Who would have thought that I would get such an awesome deal from Lazyboy!

The best part, they will be delivered no later than next Wednesday and possibly as early as Saturday.

Congratulations on the lazy boy. Last year we replaced our hand me down lazy boy recliner was made in 1967

We had it reaplostered in 1994 since it had not be reaplostered before lazyboy paid to get the recline mechanism for free

So keep in mind after you reaplostered it the lifetime warranty is over

    Again congratations

DH's died and we bought a new one. The old one had a rough life. The guys used to jump on it like a trampoline. The thing lasted over a decade with all the hard wear and tear that the guys put on it.

That is great! I love that Lazyboy has a lifetime guarantee on the mechanics. Dh's mechanics broke and we called them. The replacement parts arrived the very next day. Dh had it fixed in no time.

On a side note, did you remember to check down the back and sides of the old ones for loose change and other lost goodies???

Congratulations on your new furniture..You got a great deal! I never had any new furniture of my own until 2 and a 1/2 yrs ago..I made sure that ALL of us (5 people) would all be ale to sit (not some of us on the couch and some of us sitting on the floor because there wasn't enough room..for 11yrs this is how we lived) so I bought 2 oversized recliner couches..I don't regret the $3000 price tag either! ..HUGS..

    LOL!!!

You know, I have to say that I did. We carried it to the curb and then I went through it well. The only thing I found was an allen wrench from one of the past owners.
