This morning I received this in my junk mail

when going a little further I got this
The website you are visiting has been report as a "phishing' website
These websites are designed to trick you into disclosing personal or financial information usually by creating a copy of a legitimate website such as a bank.
The scariest part is that this was from a VERY reputable company in Holland and the name they used and the logos for the Visa and Master card were original.
I have since called the company and they are grateful for my call and of course assured me that it isn't from them but that they would be taking action.
But I can imagine that someone else seeing it would fill in the form especially since this company does have a credit card of it's own.
I am really getting sick of this.Avril

I'm quite sure that at least a few people were conned since it is a VERY reputable company and they do have their own Visa card.
Also the address and ALL the logos were correct.
It was sent in Dutch and there were a couple of grammar mistakes which some people would maybe miss.
I did what I could by warning the company and their security unit would look into it.Avril

The first thing I told my family, when they started using the internet, is to never, EVER, follow links to accounts. If an email shows up, use a different browser window and access the account directly. The email may or may not be legit, but it's easier to tell people to simply avoid the email links.
