So sorry for your loss. Hang in there and stand up to your sister, your Dad made the decision he wanted and that should be enough said.

Palooka---I haven't felt too "humorous" here lately but my sick humor showed up a little bit today when a friend stopped by and we were reading some of her TOTALLY WEIRD emails.

Yes, my dad would be FURIOUS if he knew what she was doing..........but he also left the financial CRAP in a mess....still has mom's name on some of it........and she died in 2002!!!
That is how fast he went into a depression........and then on
into Alz. after she died. He didn't care.

(dead on scene) (two other people were lucky to escape only due to the passenger, the mother, in that car seeing him coming) Cousin was in a field (farmer), saw the fire, went to it, got to it in time to see the cops picking up the bumper with the license plate....and THAT is how he discovered who it was. Attended that funeral......so sad!!!

Oh.........and the estate is still NOT OPENED.......big problems and
too much to go into.........yep, could be a blood bath. And I am dealing with a VERY CONTROLLING sister with money......and everyone knows what money and power can do!!!

ONE HELL OF A WAY TO DIET IS ALL I CAN SAY!!!! Hope the body
holds up through all the stress, cause if she wants a fight......she
has come to the right place...........I am about the only one that
she can't manipulate with her fits and accusations!!

Again........................WHAT A MONTH!!!!!

So sorry for your losses I know what it is like to be the executor of an estate as I am my Dads with troublesome family members so hang in there girl . When it gets crazy I always say when I get to heaven Im gonna punch my Dad right in the nose for making me the executrix lol.

I can only say that I hope you have DOUBLE CHECKED the will and made sure that everything is spelled out.........and KNOW where the Orig. is and how the financial part was set up.

Right now, I would do more than punch my dad...........and I ask myself how can someone that hated paying taxes and govt. intervention, leave such a financial mess that most of it will be going through probate.............but the I am also finding out that he had A TOTALLY INCOMPETENT lawyer. My lawyer is just shaking his head at some of the CRAP!!

Everyone............PLEASE......double check the will!!! There are some easy and safe ways to keep things OUT OF PROBATE.......depending on your states laws. Even a POD will
work for some things............PLEASE CHECK.

This is a mess that NO ONE should have to go through.

I think THAT part may have leveled out...........she isn't contesting the will...........

Dad had a TOTALLY INCOMPETENT LAWYER..........and I found YET ANOTHER error today........so it is getting everyone on the same page for 'agreeing' about what to do to get it fixed/filed.

Thanks to the lawyer..........(and partial family crap) it STILL ISN'T OPENED................so I have had to hire a lawyer to FIX WHAT HE SCREWED UP!!!!!!!!!!

And I am not even to the financial crap yet...........that is a
mess too!!

Soon it will be TWO MONTHS.............and no will is even opened yet!!
