Been one heck of a month.....

I have eluded to some happenings in some posts but decided
to spell it out and try to give you the short version......

Has been he!! around here for awhile.........but with some prayers for STRENGTH to get through this..........I will!!

Some might know........my dad died Sept. 9.........after a 7 year
battle with Alz. that contains many of its own horror stories.
(not the least of which created a totally dysfunctional family)
No funeral---no service. BUT....I am executor.

Two days after my dad died......my very best friend's mom died.
I just could not make it to the funeral.....held way down in So.
    Idaho, but she understood.

Both of these were older, failing, people but still hurts and darn sad.

Two and a half weeks after THAT........my cousin's wife
was making a left turn off of a busy highway, into their lane, heading home from work, when a 75 year old Swift Truck driver
hit her broadside, pushed her down the road 300 feet, car caught fire and...........don't need to state the rest. (dead on scene) (two other people were lucky to escape only due to the passenger, the mother, in that car seeing him coming) Cousin was in a field (farmer), saw the fire, went to it, got to it in time to see the cops picking up the bumper with the license plate....and THAT is how he discovered who it was. Attended that funeral......so sad!!!

Oh.........and the estate is still NOT OPENED.......big problems and
too much to go into.........yep, could be a blood bath. And I am dealing with a VERY CONTROLLING sister with money......and everyone knows what money and power can do!!!

ONE HELL OF A WAY TO DIET IS ALL I CAN SAY!!!! Hope the body
holds up through all the stress, cause if she wants a fight......she
has come to the right place...........I am about the only one that
she can't manipulate with her fits and accusations!!

    Again........................WHAT A MONTH!!!!!

Sorry life has you dealing with so much loss.
Definitely time to screen your calls and don't be afraid to just unplug from everything for a day or two so you can get yourself in a better spot to deal with things on your terms.

Yeah........this estate thing is something ELSE........and could get worse before it gets better.........will post more when I have more info........but........I am in it for the fight now!!! She was POA for
the last 7 years and is having one heck of a time giving up the power...........(and 'the will', I think...but can't prove it.)

FF - what a terrible time you have had. Recovering from such loss is hard enough without facing the battles that lie before you. Know that I'm thinking of you.

Oh dear! What a mess! All I can think of to say is try to ignore your sister and just do what your dad wanted. Plan your work and work your plan. And one step at a time. Or my grandmother's favourite saying "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade!"
