My most memorable was deleted, but it was a classic. Some members might remember it. It had Elmo in it and Elmo had a close friend.

What are your TOP TEN frugal tips?
One of the first threads that got me hooked on frugal village is a thread that started in 2002 and is still around called "What are your top ten frugal tips under "Just Tips".
I remember spending hours reading every single tip. Some amused me because I thought the tip was CRAZY and many I have a adopted! This is by far my favorite thread. Oh, I also really like GreekIslandGirl's thread about life in Greece. I have ready every single page from that one as well!

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Sounds like a lovers' quarrel is brewing in paradise due to a simple difference of opinions.
I am thankful for many threads I've found here but will agree that Greebo's tips for sure failure is a classic. "Don't be a Greebo!" always makes me chuckle. I might have to go re-visit the Top Ten thread in Just Tips again.3/26 Afghan #3: 58 done of 191 rows
