Smile Trip to the American Girl Store (excellent customer service)

Little Miss, my mom, and I headed to the big big city for a girls day out. Since American Girl store was on the plan Little Miss's doll went too. The trip was Little Miss birthday present back in January it just took us this long to get everyone's schedules to mesh.

While in the store Little Miss's doll lost her glasses ( Yes her doll wears glasses too) We couldn't find them anywhere in the store so we ask (the manager lady?) if they had a lost and found.

They do but the doll glasses were not there. She suggested we wait around a bit and see if someone turns them in since they hadn't been missing very long. We say okay and start looking again for the glasses.

The lady sees us still looking and says "wait here a min". She leaves us and comes back in a bit with a pair just like the ones we had lost. She had a extra pair in the back.

That was so kind of them to give Little Miss another pair so we would not have to keep looking, worrying, and waiting and could get on with enjoying our day.

Little Miss thanked her and slipped the glasses right on her doll and we enjoyed the day out.

PS we also ate at a new to us place. Five Guys Yum.

Little Miss said it tasted so good because it tasted a lot like burgers from home.

How wonderful of them to replace the glasses for you. And so glad to hear that you had a good day. What a great birthday present!

It was nice of them to replace the glasses.

It was also nice of my mother to include me in the girls' day out that was her birthday present to Little Miss.

It was a great experience all around.

The staff at American Girl Store are wonderful. We went Tyson's Corner for my niece's 7th birthday and they were so kind to my one-year-old grandson. He was sitting in the displays and playing with the Bitty Twins. We were trying to get him to stop but they said no to let him play. We all had great time.

Glad to hear your experience was positive as well.

The dolls are good for passing down.

Little Miss's first one was Samantha who had been my doll.

While at the American Girl store we saw the doll hair salon. Some of the dolls that came in had so messy hair. The looked good as new when the ladies were finished with them.
