Our first Snow Fall...
I feel so at peace and sad at the same time looking out my window seeing all those big flakes of snow and how everything is all covered...add in the woodstove that we have burning hot the smell of the wood burning just brings joy to my heart....Sad why? because Darlene comes to mind thinking of her losing her home and life memories and all the beautiful pictures of her home and beautiful things she posted about the beauty she sees in the world makes me cry for her....

Brenda,
You are such a sweet kind soul. I hope you enjoy your precious home, stocked pantry and beautiful wood stove this winter. You worked so hard to prepare for winter for your family.
I am very sad for Darlene too, what a loss and shame. I pray she can find a wonderful new home that makes her heart sing like the old and yours does you.
Blessings and hugs. Thanks for such a sweet post. Made my day.*Angel*

Brenda what a nice post. I too think of Darlene and all that she has lost. I hope she will be in a new home soon and begin to make more wonderful memories that will gladden her heart.
Enjoy your home and watching the snowflakes. Hugs.

Aww Brenda & the rest of you guys.
: Don't be sad, we are doing ok. We have a nice place to stay, food to eat and wood to keep us warm. Sure we lost a lot but we'll be OK and I'll share new pics of the beauty wherever I am & those will be nice too. I've had a bit of loss in my life & always find a way through and lots of joy on the other side. Life is good and glad to have people like you to share it with.
The snow is beautiful, our woodfire is crackling away too & here's a pic of how pretty it is where I am now.~*Darlene*~

Might have snow here tomorrow. Luckily only a few inches if at all. Have a feeling this is going to be a long winter weather wise!

We still have leaves on the trees here. But I am feeling prepared for winter. Darlene, thanks for posting the pic and posting period. I've been thinking of you and how you're doing as well. Hope everything is working out okay for you at the moment.

There was talk of snow on Sunday, but now the forecast just says rain. It has been so cold though the last few days. Above freezing, but not by much.
Plus, I didn't have a winter coat, the zipper broke on mine last year. Stopped in at the 2nd hand store this morning and picked up a nice warm Columbia jacket for $6.
