Just frustrated
I am so frustrated with my Mother, and I guess even more with myself for trusting her. Because of this huge error in judgement on my part, my husband along with our 2 boys (6 and 4) have moved from KY to MD and then from MD to AL since August. In order to make the initial move, we sold our mobile home, most of our furniture, and rehomed 2 of our pets. To move from MD to AL, we had to sell even MORE of our stuff, put our remaining stuff in storage and pack only our essentials into our car and drive 15 hours, Now that we are in AL, living with my husbands parents, we are very happy, but I am very frustrated because we are having to start over essentially---have had to purchase a new dresser, a futon to use as a bed for our boys, and a new TV since ours would not fit in the car OR the storage unit. Trusting her cost us at least $2000 more than it would have if we had just moved from KY to AL. My husband is flying out to get our stuff out of storage next week, so at least we will have our own bed again....we've been sleeping on an air mattress for the last month---and at least that monthly bill will be gone, but it really stinks to feel like we have had to start from scratch again, all because we trusted someone who should have been trustworthy but was not.

Unfortunately, all you can do now is chalk it up as a lesson learned.
It's easy to look back and say the things you should or should not have done. The hard part is making sure you don't repeat some of those things.
Buckle down with the determination of making the best you can with the current situation and preparing for a better future.Russ

I must have missed the other post.

Agree with last two posters. What does this have to do with your mom? Did you move from KY to MD to stay with her, and then needed to move out because it didn't work out?

I don't need any other details to get the idea of what you are saying. I am very sorry things did not work out in MD as you thought they would. Hang in there....this too shall pass!!

As further clarification, I am not assuming anything. I have enough information to know that something in MD did not work out and I am able to give sympathy without needing details. That is what I was referring to.

We are not asking for info, we are asking if we missed something maybe in another post. Maybe you communicate with her personally and you do know whats going on. Kinda like some one saying "guess what"? and of course every one would ask "what"? What ever it is im sure she will be fine. Sound money is tight and wish her the best.

Sorry things didn't work the way you planned/hoped they would. Don't let the mistakes of the past wear you down. Learn from them, let them go and it'll make room in your life for some good stuff. Here's to starting over, better and stronger than ever, good stuff ahead, be ready for it!
