Default Christmas cookies....you can only pick 1

If you had to narrow it all the way down to 1...

Christmas would just not be Christmas without (insert your cookie choice here).

My mom makes a sugar cookie, shaped as a bell, with a marichino cherry-half as the ringer, dates at the top.

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cherry-bell-cookies/ This is what they look at but is not her recipe, her recipe has chopped dates for the filling.

NOM NOM NOM. I love chocolate but these bell cookies have a sentimental place in my heart over any chocolate cookies.

Here you go. Hands down the most incredible cookie. I fill with homemade black raspberry jam, made by a friend of my MIL's or I use elderberry jam, or loganberry jam.

    Sweet beginning of December delicious:days

My husband makes a real simple sugar cookie and I guess the reason they are so special is because he only makes them once a year.
