Hello from NH
hello I am a student/mom from New Hampshire, and I joined because I am trying to set limits for my spending habits...
Its not the amount of money I spend that bothers me.....Its how I spend it....
My Husband does not work all winter ( he does seasonal work) and we handle finances separate . He pays the mortgage , I pay for my own needs and the kids needs....It gets hard in winter but I feel I have no one but myself to blame ....
For fun I am familiar with forums...I do facebook games like Farmville, Pet society , and enjoy my reading and cooking, and keeping the house.
Part of what makes me want to change my life is that I see so many people who struggle, and that have less then me , and that makes me sad when I see how wasteful I am..
I am hoping maybe I can chat and spread what knowledge I have gained in life to help /share with others

Welcome to FV Kerri! Never too late to have want to have a change in attitude and deeds. Saving money can be alot of fun and it's a lot easier to enjoy life if you aren't worried every winter. You can do it.

Hi and welcome from another NH resident. I live in the Monadnock region.
One thing I'd suggest is to look at the salvage market list. I know there are two here in S. NH (Winchester & Hillsborough), not sure about other parts of the state.
