The only thing I would worry about is whether or not he has done the research on jobs, starting salaries and cost of living. If he's done the research and finds that he can do just fine, then I don't really see an issue. He seems like a smart, hard working kid, so he'll probably be just fine.

You also have to consider that a lot of starting salaries for post degree jobs are equal to or lower than some non degree work.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. I know every parent wants their kid to graduate college, but your son is obviously no dummy. Kudos are in order for raising a responsible kid.
Nishu I am having the same problelm with my dear son, he works full time 38 hours plus goes to work full time he wanted to quite, but he does not have the opportunity to quite and come back, if he quits he will have to pay for the scholarship, this scholarship is available to students of the area.

I know it's hard work, but a college degree is forever. The economy will change eventually, he will want his degree, but like others have mentioned, money, life and babies could get in the way down the road.

He's young, unmarried, living at home with few expenses. There is never going to be an easier time to knock this college degree thing off his bucket list.

If next year is paid for, he should maybe do fewer hours this upcoming semester?
